The Training Centre’s modern facilities include 11
classrooms, electrical, instrumental and mechanical workshops, chemical
laboratories, a library, an auditorium, offices and a canteen. The instrumental workshop was built when the ATC was
first devoloped in 2004. There is a variety of equipment in our instrumental workshop. The calibration bench can calibrate various instruments including: |
|||
- Multi-meters - AC/DC signal source - Signal generators - Oscilloscopes - AC/DC Milli-voltmeters - Ohm meters - Clamp meters, Tacho
meters - Power supplies - Temperature indicators,
sensors - RTD transmitters - Thermocouple
transmitters - Timer counters - Frequency meters - Resistance boxes - Loop signal indicators,
transmitters - Pressure transducers,
transmitters, switches |

These types of calibration benchs are available in instumental workshop Gauges Two types of gauges are
available in ATC’s instrumental workshop: field gauges and laboratory gauges. |
|||
|
Gauge in manufacturing and engineering, a device used to determine,
either directly or indirectly, whether a dimension is larger or smaller than
another dimension that is used as a reference standard. Some devices termed
gauges may actually measure the size of the object to be gauged, but most
gauges merely indicate whether the dimensions of the test object are
sufficiently close to those of the standard; i.e., whether they are in the
range between set limits, known as the tolerance, for a particular object.
Gauges may operate mechanically or electrically.
Calibration instruments Calibration instruments, which available in instrumental workshop: - Portable calibration
instrument - Temperature bath - Calibration termometres - Dead weight tester
Calibration instruments
use electrical signals or physical quantities to calibrate sensors and
meters. Devices that produce electrical signals can serve as precise meters
for sensor calibration, or send output signals to other devices. |

Process simulator Process simulation is used in instrumental workshop for design,
development, analysis, and optimization of technical processes. |
