ATC


Atyrau Training Center (ATC) was established in July, 2004 by Agip KCO company due to support of President of RK.

The central aim of ATC is training of personnel from Kazakhstan for oil&gas industry. The Training Centre’s modern facilities consist of 11 classrooms, electrical, instrumental and mechanical workshops, chemical laboratories, a library, an auditorium, offices and a canteen.

All trainees will work on key posts at onshore and offshore objects. Many successful graduates of ATC have already become worthy employees of Agip KCO Company. Every one of them got priceless deep knowledge and professional skills in their fields, got an exclusive advantage to obtain valuable experience in Italy, Egypt, Singapore, Congo, France as well. Study lasts approximately two years, including intensive English course with technical and job trainings.

Currently more than 500 trainees were under professional training at ATC (SP-1, SP-2, SP-3). With proud we would like to say that only the best graduates of universities and colleges from different places of Kazakhstan can study at ATC. You can meet there really talented, smart, purposeful and remarkable people.

Today SP-4 trainees (about 130 people) have successfully finished studying at ATC and underwent On-Job Trainings in Singapore, Holland in Shell's training facilities. Now majority of them work in Eskene West Karabatan Field, Kashagan D-Island Production facilitis and District office at key positions.

In line with the ongoing A2N transition process, Training activities were handed over from Agip KCO to NCPOC on December 1. Training personnel are now under NCPOC management, becoming part of the HR Learning and Development Department. This will be an Integrated Training Team supporting both Agip KCO and NCPOC with training activities and competency development of national staff. Due to these events, the special project trainings are on hold for undefined time.
